Commonwealth Games Wrap-Up!

Birmingham 2022 is in the books! After 11 days of high-level competition, we’re proud of all our clients who competed at the Games. Here are a few highlights:

In the 3×3 Basketball, client Jamell Anderson helped Team England win their first ever Gold medal in the fast-paced 3×3 format.

Abbie Wood excelled in the pool, bringing home 5 medals! Wood secured Bronze in the Mixed 4 x 100m Medley Relay, Women’s 200m Individual Medley, Women’s 4 x 200m Freestyle Relay, and Silver in the Women’s 4 x 100m Freestyle Relay and Mixed 4 x 100m Freestyle Relay.

Elsewhere, Harry Coppell secured Bronze in the Men’s Pole Vault clearing 5.50m.

Continuing her stellar season, Daryll Neita bought home two medals. Silver in the Women’s 4 x 100m Relay and Bronze in the Women’s 100m.

Sophie Coldwell picked a Gold medal in the Triathlon Mixed Team Relay.

In the men’s 4x100m, Ojie Edoburun helped Team England win Gold with a time of 38.85 seconds.

Samantha Kinghorn secured Bronze in the T53/54 1500m.

Representing Guernsey, Alastair Chalmers secured Bronze in the Men’s 400m hurdles; winning Guernsey’s first ever athletics medal!
